Center For Living Peace

Good Happens

A Night to Remember

Our Grand Opening Party was truly a night to remember!  The first guests welcomed into our beautiful, new space enjoyed watching artist Melanie Stimmell begin a mural that will be permanently hung in the Center.

Il Fornaio provided extraordinary fare in celebration of our opening.

UCI’s Jodaiko Japanese Drum Ensemble kicked off the party with a powerful performance.

Everyone contributed a unique definition of “living peace” to add to the Center’s living tree, making for a diverse and striking display.

I’ll leave you with a few of these thoughts about “living peace.”  What would your contribution to our tree be?

Good Happens.

Peace Grl Out.

  1. Hello,

This is Mia Kirshner. Well done on the centre. IT looks just amazing and beautiful.

Best of luck and joy with the programs.

    Mia

  2. The night was very special, you could feel it thick in the air. The center is off to a great start and we look forward to having the High School Inc. (H.S.I.) students from the west side of Santa Ana learn more about global peace and inner peace. The H.S.I. students and their urban setting does not allow for self reflection or give relavance to their potential contributions to the world. Thank you for making this center possible, many people will be touched with goodness.

    Hi Faradee,

this looks like an AWESOME party! thanks for sending the email so could see how beautiful the food and art and whole environment. i can see the results of your training and work over so many years, creating and coordinating programs — not the least of which was the gathering for H.H. the Dalai Lama in 2006 at Shambhala Mtn Center. bringing more peace onto the planet is Right Livelyhood. Thank you! Hugs, Leila
