Live Peace with Homeboy Industries

Homeboy Industries is a youth program dedicated to providing alternatives to gang life for high-risk youth and help gang members transition out of gang life and pursue better lives. The industry offers a variety of free programs to the youth. They even provide free tattoo removals and services to help the youth get their GED or get legal support.

Its founder, Greg Boyle, has a passion committed to the lives of at-risk youth. In an article by the LA Times, one former gang-member, Stephanie Lane, talked about Boyle’s dedication to provide her a life away from gangs and get her a job. She said, “He [Boyle] never judged us, like everyone else does.”  Boyle  is a prime example of how doing good can highly impact and change others’ lives. It can give hope to those who feel they are stuck on a dark path.
