Hans Rosling: The River of Myths

Today we bring you a video that we found interesting. Data can be fascinating! In this video on the Gates Foundation‘s Youtube channel, statistician Hans Rosling discusses the importance of measurement, particularly of child mortality rates. Rosling discusses what he declares as “the river of myths” that supposedly separates the “developed” from the “developing” world.

Rosling has also made other talks about the importance of data. What are your thoughts?

Good Happens.

  1. Admiring the dedication you put into your website and detailed information you offer. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed information. Great read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
