4 Orange County Nonprofits You Need to Know

There are so many nonprofit organizations that make Good Happen locally, regionally, and even internationally. Today we want to share 4 Orange County organizations (in no particular order!) that everyone should know about!

1. The Tiyya Foundation

Based in Irvine, The Tiyya Foundation works to support refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) here in Orange County. Tiyya focuses on youth in particular, offering workshops and activities ranging from homework help to soccer camps. Get involved by visiting the Tiyya website, or joining us as we celebrate #GivingTuesday!

2. Human Options

Founded in 1981, Human Options serves as a resource for battered women and children in south Orange County. It provides comprehensive services aimed at breaking the cycle of domestic violence. Get involved by visiting the Human Options website— it provides links to their Wish List as well as volunteer resources.

3. Team Kids

Team Kids was founded in 2001 with the goal of empowering kids to see the ways that they can make a difference in their community through service. Learn more and see how you can be a friend at the Team Kids website!

4. Families Forward

Founded in 1984, Families Forward provides assistance to Orange County families in need. It works to help families restore their self-sufficiency through programs like food assistance, school supplies, and career assistance. You can volunteer and see how you can donate by visiting the Families Forward website!
